Our Beginning
Dewey's Pizza was born in 2009 from a simple belief: great pizza changes a neighborhood. Our founder, Dewey Marshall, grew up watching his grandmother craft hand-rolled dough every Sunday — a ritual steeped in love, patience, and local ingredients.
What started as a 12-seat spot on Madison Road grew organically into a Cincinnati institution. We never chased trends. We chased flavor. Every topping is locally sourced where possible, every sauce is made from scratch, and every crust is hand-stretched by our team.
We partner with Ohio farms and local suppliers to bring the freshest, most flavorful ingredients to every pizza.

Dewey Marshall opens the original 12-seat restaurant on Madison Road with just five pizzas on the menu and a dream of redefining Cincinnati's pizza scene.
Word-of-mouth explodes. We expand the dining room to 50 seats, hire our first dedicated kitchen team, and launch the weekend brunch pizza menu that becomes an instant hit.
Cincinnati Magazine names Dewey's the #1 pizza restaurant in the city — the first of many accolades that put us on the regional culinary map.
Responding to overwhelming demand, we launch Dewey's Catering — bringing our handcrafted pizzas to weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations across Ohio.
A full restaurant renovation introduces our signature open kitchen, craft beer tap list, and an expanded menu featuring seasonal specials and vegan options.
We launch seamless online ordering and delivery, making Dewey's accessible to all of Cincinnati from the comfort of home — without sacrificing a single bit of quality.
